The original version of the video which was recently shot for Incubus' latest single "Wish You Were Here" with director Phil Harder (Foo Fighters, Esthero), has been barred from MTV due to questionable content. The video is a spin off of the 1968 Monkees movie "Head", in which the band jumped off a bridge to escape from mobs of girls. As a result, the band have given the channel another version of the clip with the conclusion of the scene altered and the station has now agreed to air it. In other news, Incubus are tentatively set to perform the aforementioned single on "The Late Show With David Letterman" on November 01st and are also rumored to be appearing on an episode of MTV's "Unplugged" sometime in the coming months. For now, their new album "Morning View" will hit stores on October 23rd through Immortal/Epic.
