Greetings earthlings, welcome to October, better known as the cold month. We
know many of you can't wait for the impending bombardment of holiday themed
advertising and neither can we, we just love seeing snowmen, reindeer, Santa and
A Christmas Story 18 times in one day. You'll shoot your eye out indeed. So
anyway, its a cold month, so get cold and sit and read this overdrawn intro that
goes nowhere. More interviews, more features and more contests in the works and
that's about it. Before you go, remember though, Toucan Sam kept it real, the
colonel, the Cap'n, hell even the Kool-Aid Man, they all sold out, but Toucan
still holds it down, reprezent.

PRP Band Of The Month For October:
==================================

Mr. Downstairs:
---------------
Hailing from Ithaca, NY, Mr. Downstairs came to be in 1997 and after undergoing
a number of personnel changes, the current lineup solidified and unleashed a
blistering self-titled full-length effort in 2000. Building upon the strength of
it, the group have continually played regional shows since, impressing fans far
and wide.....

PRP Featured Release For October:
=================================

Amazing Device - "The Demo":
----------------------------
Baldwin, NY based outfit Amazing Device started to make a name for themselves
under the moniker of Further, but unfortunately, due to some legal issues they
were forced to change their name, so it is with this outing that they make the
virgin trek under their newly adopted banner. Having already played countless
regional shows and even appearing on the internationally aired "Farmclub.com" TV
show, Amazing Device have released a string of successful demos under their
previous name....

"Blank Generation" off Supercharger wouldn't happen to be a cover of the Richard Hell song would it?
