Recent rumors suggest that a handful of upcoming releases will be shipping massive amounts of copies to stores during their first week of sales, instantly certifying them gold or platinum. At present, Slipknot's impending new release "IOWA", which is due out on August 28th through Roadrunner/Universal, is expected to ship platinum (1 million copies), while System Of A Down's "Toxicity" (due out September 04th through American/Columbia) and P.O.D.'s "Satellite" (due out September 11th through Atlantic) are both slated to ship gold (500,000 copies).
