Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera recently conducted an interview with http://www.usinadosom.com.br, in which he mentioned that the band plan to release a video for their track "Tree Of Pain" in the near future. He was also asked about his current relationship with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, as the pair had originally collaborated on Soulfly's breakthrough single "Bleed" back in 1998, Cavalera had the following to say (translated from Portuguese):
"We did the song and the video, but after that he got a little distant. Not only from myself, but from a lot of people in the music scene as well. People don't like him because he turned into a rockstar, walking with security and everything. It's his mistake. The guys from System of a Down, whom I know, share the same opinion about him."
Cavalera was also asked about if he is happy with his longtime label of Roadrunner Records, he went on to answer by saying:
"Well, I can't complain. They allow me to make music the way I like it, without interference's. On a major, some kind of pressure for us to turn into a more modern band would probably exist. We still have 2 albums to be released through them in our contract, and after that I could go to wherever I want. But truth is, I might probably stick with them."

Blood Burns Pt.2
The Blood Brothers have decided upon "Burn Piano Island, Burn" as the title to their upcoming Ross Robinson (Slipknot, Glassjaw) produced ARTISTdirect debut. The album will see a release in late February. In the meantime, Robinson himself commented on working the band and what to expect from the album saying:
"It was scary to step out of the extreme punk-rock state of being. We did talk about how some of their hard-core fans wouldn't like some of what we were doing on these sessions. But in the end they'd go 'I don't care' because we were having a lot of fun, doing things we'd never done before."
He also went on to state:
"It's not the sound that matters, It's the integrity that you keep within the music. A lot of bands today claim punk rock, but they really have nothing to do with it. The difference is that if you asked the guys in Blood Brothers to do something with their music or their lives that they don't want to do, they'll actually get physically ill. They're young, so they know they've got nothing to lose. To me, that's punk rock, right there. It's a way of life and a state of being, more than a style of music. It's what integrity sounds like."
Known tentative track titles for the album include:
"The Salesman, Denver Max"
"Every Breath Is A Bomb"

We've just been coming in with new material we like and getting excited about playing again. We know we're gonna work somebody in here pretty soon. It may take a few months; it may take a few years.
