X-Guitarist - wookubus
Guitarist Tripp Eisen of Static-X fame will not be joining The Murderdolls on their upcoming inaugural U.S. run and will instead be replaced by Acey Slade of Dope for the duration of the trek. A statement was issued by Eisen on the matter and is as follows:
I'm sorry to announce (it is with sadness...) that I will not be playing the dates on the upcoming Murderdolls tour, but go check out Joey and the boys on these upcoming tour dates as they are going to kick your ass! I hope to see you all very soon and am very excited about The Muderdolls music getting out to everyone!"
The Murderdolls will be releasing their Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam debut "Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls" on August 20th. In related news, both The Murderdolls and Stone Sour will be releasing 3 song EP's exclusively through Hot Topic beginning this week as a preview to their upcoming debut releases.
