Amen have now launched their "Amen Free Music Campaign" on their official website, www.comaamerica.com. Included in this update of the campaign are mp3's of a new track entitled "Christian Criminal" along with a song from Disorderly Conduct, a group which band frontman Casey Chaos played in prior to Amen. The new song posted actually comes from a post-album recording session helmed by Casey and a friend of the band named Matt and is not likely to show up on their forthcoming new album which is still tangled up in record company red tape. Other known songs recorded during the aforementioned session include:
"Woke Up Now?"
"Destroy Rock 'N' Roll"
Both songs have been circulating on the internet in mp3 form as of late. In the meantime, known tentative track titles for the groups long awaited album include:
"Money Infection"
"California's Bleeding"
In other Amen news, Casey Chaos has contributed his vocals to an as of yet unannounced Black Flag cover for the forthcoming West Memphis 3 benefit CD being put together by Henry Rollins. A variety of other vocalists are also expected to contribute to the album including Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Jim Lindberg of Pennywise and more. A November release through an as of yet unannounced label is being planned.
