Keyboardist Doug Firley Injurs Hand; Band Cancels Dates Until May 19th

For Immediate Release:
Electronic Rock specialists Gravity Kills suffered a minor setback last weekend as keyboard player Doug Firley sustained serious injury to his hand in Allentown, PA while performing in front of a sold out crowd. The injury occurred when Firley dropped the custom-made, springloaded keyboard on his hand during the band's single, "One Thing." Gravity Kills were touring to support their acclaimed Sanctuary Records debut Superstarved. The band immediately returned home to St. Louis for Doug to seek treatment, thus ending the current cycle of tour dates. Gravity Kills plans on returning to the road on May 19th for a WAAF performance and are already confirmed for the Locobazooka tour (alongside such notable peers as Filter, Sevendust, Nonpoint, & Mushroomhead), which will see them through the summer.

Current Locobazooka dates include:

06/27/02 Milwaukee, WI Summerfest
06/28/02 Fort Wayne, IN Hilgers Farm
06/29/02 Green Bay, WI Humboldt Haus
06/30/02 La Crosse, WI Rockin' The Ridge Amphitheatre
07/03/02 Biloxi, MS Miss. Coast Coliseum
07/05/02 Hardeeville, SC Motor Speedway
07/06/02 Augusta, GA Exchange Club Fairgrounds
07/07/02 Jacksonville, NC Coastal Plains Raceway
