Static-X fans, you can officially now begin to start pre-ordering your copies of
the Static-X #1 comic book at your local comic shop now! The comic will be
polybagged with a CD that will include the remix of the song "This is Not" and
interview footage of the band! Just ask your retailer to locate the product in
the May issue of Previews!

The comic hits comic book and specialty shops everywhere on July 24, 2002. To
find a comic shop near you please call the Comic Shop Locator Service toll free
at 1-888-266-4226 or by going online to http://csls.diamondcomics.com. You can
also pre-order the comic book directly from Chaos! Comics online at
http://www.chaosstore.com, starting June 1st.

The comic book takes place in techno-doom laden future, where the world is ruled
by The State. Corporations and commercialism have been abolished. Wayne, Ken,
Tony and Tripp (members of Static-X) are cybernetically enhanced workers,
leading insignificant lives as slaves to The State. Memories intrude, reminding
them of a time they worked together, nearly inciting a revolution. Are they
truth or just another implanted memory? Will they learn the real story before
its too late or will they remain the mindless agents that The State created
them to be? First in a series of Sci-Fi thriller one shots.
