Vex Red have posted mp3's of live renditions of their tracks "Start With A Strong And Persistent Desire" and "Itch" on their official website, The songs come from the bands upcoming I AM/Virgin debut "Start With A Strong And Persistent Desire", which is due out in stores on July 02nd stateside. Working In The Factory
Factory 81 drummer Andy Cyrulnik recently posted an update regarding the bands current progress on their upcoming new album, it is as follows:
"Hey everyone.....It's been a while since we have posted any updates so i'll take the liberty of doing so. At the moment we have around 14 new songs completed and are in the process of demoing the material in order to find the right producer for the album. In the meantime we plan on setting up some one off shows in select areas....keep an eye out! We can't wait to get this new album finished so we can get back on the road to hang out with everyone.......We want to thank you guys for being patient and supportive during this time....I promise the wait will be well worth it. Thanks again, Andy"

Sevendust will be appearing on MTV's Andy Dick Show tomorrow, Saturday April 27th. The group will make their appearance during the "MTV House Party Landlord" skit.

Breakin SOiL Down
SOiL have lined up the track "Breakin Me Down" as the next single from their latest release, "SCARS". The song will impact at radio on May 20th.

The Damned Score
The orchestral score for the "Queen Of The Damned" film will now be released through Reprise/Warner Bros. on June 11th. The effort was composed by Korn frontman Jonathan Davis and Richard Gibbs of Oingo Boingo fame.

Darwin's Writing Room
Darwin's Waiting Room are currently at home writing new material for their next album. The group have around 13 songs written so far, all of which are untitled, and are hoping to have around 20 completed before they begin recording the album for MCA sometime later this year.

The Augustmut
Filter have now pushed back their upcoming new album "The Amalgamut" to an August 06th release date through Reprise. The official track listing for it is as follows:

Slit Video
36 Crazyfists are planning to shoot a video in New York City, NY in mid-May. Although no firm plans have been made yet, the group are tentatively eyeing the track "Slit Wrist Theory" as the single and will be utilizing the talents of director Chris Wilcha.

Drumming Theory
The Juliana Theory parted ways with drummer Neil Hebrank earlier this month and have replaced him with long-time friend of the band, Josh Walters. The band issued a statement on the matter and it is as follows:
"We're sad to report that our drummer, Neil Hebrank, is no longer with the band. We've shared many great times with Neil over the last several years and we will remain close friends with him. The four of us wish him all the best in everything he does, and we will always appreciate the music and memories we made together. We've been working for the last few weeks with Josh Walters, a long- time friend of the band, playing drums. We're really excited about playing with Josh and can't wait for all of you to hear the new album. We'll be starting to tour again in June. See you then!"
At present the band are still hard at work on their upcoming Epic debut which is expected out in July/August, tentative tracktitles include:

Killswitch Engage shot the video for their new single "My Last Serenade" in Culver City, CA with director Paul Brown (Coal Chamber) today. The clip is expected to begin airing shortly while the groups upcoming new album "Alive Or Just Breathing?" is due out in stores on May 21st through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam.

Building A New Ministry
Ministry are currently holed up in their home studio working on their upcoming new album "Animositisomina". At present, the group have 12 songs in the works for the album, track titles include:
"Crucial Bitch"
A fall release through Sanctuary is being eyed. In the meantime, band frontman Al Jourgensen recently commented to MTV on what to expect from the album, stating:
"This new record is harder than getting hit over the head with a shovel full of cement. The title is the word 'animosity' spelled forward and backwards, so it's animosity through and through. We only have one song that's even sort of slow, so it's definitely all too fast for a Boca Raton retirement community. I'm pretty amazed by it all considering we're all in our 70s."

Glowing Coals
Coal Chamber have posted an mp3 of their track "Glow" online, you can check it out here. The song comes from their upcoming new album "Dark Days", which is due out in stores on May 07th through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam.

Moulding The Prophets
The Lostprophets recently hit the studio with producer Alan Moulder (nine inch nails, A Perfect Circle) to record a new song tentatively titled "Lately (Tell Me)". A live version of the song has been circulating on the internet under the name of "B-Side" as of late. The studio version of the track is expected to show up on an upcoming single release.

Roadrunners Rules
Roadrunner/Island Def Jam are tentatively set to release a soundtrack for "MTV's Road Rules" in July. The album is expected to feature songs from the following artists:

Auf Der Guest
Former Hole/Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf Der Mar has been hard at work in the studio on her upcoming solo album with producer Chris Goss (Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age). A variety of guest appearances have been tapped for the album, including Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters fame, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman/guitarist Josh Homme, A Perfect Circle bassist Paz Lenchantin, former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, Samantha Maloney of Hole fame and more. The album is expected out late this year through an as of yet unannounced label.

Spiritfall have finished tracking both the drum and guitar for their upcoming new project and will wrap up the recording sessions for their current batch of songs sometime next week. The group are working with producer Michael Rosen (dredg) and songs being recorded include:

Naked In Front Of Papa
Papa Roach have recorded covers of both Faith No More's "Naked In Front Of The Computer" and the Pixie's "Gouge Away". Both are tentatively expected to show up on the bands upcoming new album "Lovehatetragedy", which is due out through Dreamworks on June 18th.
