Once again thanks to all of you who came out to the shows while we were on tour. It was super fun. We met lots of really cool bands and some really great people. High and lows are located on the message board so sign up.

We also have some new photos on the site from the tour that everyone can check out. If anyone has any photos they would like to share please email them to us.

I don’t know if I should be telling you this or maybe I already did…. but some great things are also on the rise with the Truck. We are on the verge of busting loose in Europe. It looks like within the next while our Western counter parts will be seeing our sorry asses in person (cross your fingers). Who would have thunk that a butt ugly bunch of fucks like us would be making our way across the ocean. It looks like a European tour is on the rise and hopefully a stopover on the island for a show. This is one home sick short brown Newfoundlander. Although this is a little ways down the roadJ

We are about to go into hibernation to focus on writing the new album. So the shows and the emails will slow down a little, but only for a while. Before we disappear we have two final shows that we will be playing. An all ages show for our younger friends and a bar show for the rest of you older folks.

Here are the specs:

The Pavillion Halifax N.S. November 23 All AGES other bands TBA

The Marquee Club, Halifax N.S. November 22 BAR SHOW

with our good friends, 'Hell City Love' http://www.brobdingnagian.com/hcl.htm

Both shows are going to hopefully be the highlight of a really crazy year for the Truck. So hopefully you will make it out with your thrashing shoes on or at least your moody trying not to look interested while still bobbing your head because you are way to cool to show any kind of enthusiasm shoes. Either way hope to see you out!

DEATHRIDE To Perform Series Of Showcases

California's DEATHRIDE, the new project featuring COAL CHAMBER frontman Dez Fafara, are set to begin performing a series of showcase gigs with a view towards signing a record deal and issuing a CD in early 2003.

"DEATHRIDE has been rehearsing every day, and we are now preparing ourselves for a series of showcases — not 'shows', showcases," said Fafara. "Which means play the songs for 4 or 5 people as they stand there with their arms crossed. DEATHRIDE loves the challenge and accepts it with open arms and thanks very much the opportunity these companies have given to prove ourselves. One will be in our hometown studio on Friday [Nov. 8], and one will be in Los Angeles on Tuesday or Wednesday. Trying to secure a new sound is proving to be quite fruitful and it's good to see the ears of the industry open."

FINCH Guitarist Slams DISTURBED's DRAIMAN: "I'd Shoot Him In The Fucking Head" -

FINCH guitarist Randy Strohmeyer had the following to say about DISTURBED singer David Draiman in the current issue of MeanStreet magazine: "I'd shoot him in the fucking head. I'd rip his stupid little piercings out. They're just cheesy. It bums me out because their music is terrible, and what they're about, it's just shit. Hopefully all that music will die out soon, and hopefully it will make room for the good music."
