Metallica jam with Ja Rule?

Metallica and Ja Rule together? It's a formula that reads right out of the Fred Durst "How to create a band" instruction book but it is happening.
The interesting combo have teamed up for a track off the upcoming Swizz Beatz record G.H.E.T.T.O Stories. Metallica and Ja Rule perform together on the track 'We Did It Again'.
The record has been scheduled for December.
The Swizz Beatz album featuring an impressive line-up of guest stars including Eve, 'Lil Kim, LL Cool J, P. Diddy and Shyne but it is the Metallica / Ja Rule collaboration that is getting everybody talking.
Despite the scheduling of a new album for the now three piece Metallica, there is a lot of activity. Before the Swizz Beatz record hits the stores you will hear Metallica cover "53rd and 3rd" on the forthcoming Ramones tribute record.
Also, there early 90s box set "Live Shit: Binge and Purge" will be released in a DVD format. The set will include 2 DVD discs (San Diego and Seattle shows) and 3 audio discs (the Mexico City shows) all packaged together in some sort of a box, but will be smaller than the original so that it can be found in the CD section. The book will be on one of the DVD's to download and print. It will also be available on for downloading. Binge & Purge DVD set is scheduled for release on November 12, 2002.
