Smashing Pumpkins Resurrected
Those who are still lamenting the passing of The Smashing Pumpkins will have something new to hold onto this fall. The Pumpkins will reissue their 1994 "Vieuphoria" home video on DVD with a bunch of extra footage including some unearthed studio footage of the band recording their major label debut album, "Siamese Dream." There will also be an accompanying CD called "Earphoria." Though the band split in 2000, Billy Corgan has continued to pump out the tunes. Most recently he has written the score for video director Jonas Akerlund's feature film "Spun."

Snowy Forecast for Drew Carey
Toronto's reggae-flavoured rapper Snow, has recorded a version of theme music for The Drew Carey Show. He is one of nine artists who have been enlisted this year to record new versions of the three different songs that have been used as the show's theme music over the past seven seasons. A Virgin Records spokesperson told reporters that Snow's version had been a big hit with the cast and crew, including Carey himself. Snow's reggae version of "Moon Over Parma" is set to debut on tonight's episode.
Snow has teamed up with Shaggy producers Tony and Dave Kelly for a new album due November 12th. Snow jokingly told reporters that the album should be called, "Shaggy Doesn't Influence Me." The real title is "Two Hands Clapping."
