No New Type O Negative Album Until 2003

Type O Negative have pushed back the tentative release date of their as-yet-untitled new album to early 2003, according to Roadrunner Records UK.

The band are due to enter Systems 2 studios in Brooklyn, New York in the coming weeks to begin recording the follow-up to 1999's World Coming Down, which will once again be produced by keyboardist Josh Silver.

Among the working song titles set to appear on the CD are :

Nettie
I Like Girls
Valentine's Day
I Need Love
Anesthesia
Why Won't You Love Me
Above All Things
Life Is Killing Me

Fear The Assassin
Asesino, the new project from Tony Campos of Static-X and former Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares, have now aligned themselves with Kool Arrow Records and will be releasing their debut effort through the label later this year. At present the group are scheduled to play the following show:
September 04th West Hollywood, CA - Whisky A Go Go
In related news Cazares will also be handling the live guitar duties for Skumlove at their upcoming show at the Dragonfly in Hollywood, CA on August 14th.

Pressrelease 5000
Powerman 5000 have put out a press release to clarify the situation surrounding their upcoming new album which they will begin recording shortly. The release is littered with various interesting commentary about the new material and present state of the band courtesy of frontman Spider One and can be viewed here.

The groups new album "Believe" is slated for a September 17th release date through Reprise/Warner.

Animation Theory
Linkin Park have posted yet another track from their forthcoming "Hybrid Theory" reinterpretation album "Reanimation" online, you can check it out at reanimation.linkinpark.com. The effort itself is slated for a July 30th release through Warner.

Used Ink
The Used have chosen "The Taste Of Ink" as the second single from their recently released self-titled Reprise debut. In other news, the group have been lined up to support Box Car Racer for a string of U.S. dates this October, an exact schedule will be announced shortly.

The Crow movies are going to be on the Space channel tonight!
