Has anyone seen the new Eminem video?
I don't have a big problem with Eminem but the video/song isn't about anything other than making fun of whats going on in the world and making fun of anyone who doesn't like his music (Moby, Sally, etc...).
I didn't mind his old stuff because there were a few songs ("Stan" and "The Way I Am") that were about something.. but the rest of it i don't like all that much. I just don't understand the amount of people who are going to run down to the cd store the day it comes out..
Oh well.
Any opinions?

Linkin Points
Linkin Park are currently hard at work mixing their upcoming remix album "Reanimation" with Mark "Spike" Stent (Massive Attack, Bjork). Around 15 tracks in total are expected to be featured on the effort when it lands in stores on July 30th through Warner. Confirmed guest artists who will be involved through remixing and contributions include Jonathan Davis of Korn, Stephen Carpenter of the Deftones, Aaron Lewis of Staind, Pharoahe Monch, Jay Gordon of Orgy and Chali 2na of Jurassic 5. Initial guests announced to be involved with the project included The Crystal Method with Ryu of Styles Of Beyond, Marilyn Manson, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, Prince Paul of Handsome Boy Modeling School and more, though it is as of yet unknown if their contributions made the cut. In the meantime, Jay Gordon of Orgy's remix of "Points Of Authority" has been selected as the first single and a video for it is expected to be shot shortly with band DJ Joseph Hahn directing.

"Amplified" (Fredwreck Remix)

Celebrity Swimming
Celebrity's track "Cave" will be featured in the upcoming film "Swimfan" which is due out in theaters on August 09th. The track is also expected to be featured on the soundtrack to the film as well.

Chris Cornell/Rage stuff...

A comment to this post by sadmonkey112 on my LiveJournal explained more about the Chris Cornell/Rage mp3's.

That song you're listening to, is NOT the new Chris Cornell/Rage stuff. That is from Temple of the Dog, a Soundgarden-Pearl Jam side project created to send off late Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood, who died of a heroin overdose in 1991.

My best guess is that some dumbass on the internet heard that the bootlegs got leaked, and immediately scoured the internet for MP3s that sounded like they could be the new Rage and Chris Cornell stuff. The real tracks are as follows:

1) Save Yourself
2) I'll Wait For You There
3) Lay Your Burden Down
4) Turn To Gold
5) Untitled
6) If You're Free
7) Get Yourself A Car
8) Highway
9) The Last Remaining Light
10) Better Bomb
11) Light My Way
12) Track 12
13) Track 13

You can get them on Audiogalaxy by searching under Civilian as a band name. That's the name they wanted to use before they got into copyright trouble... Whatever. I talk too much...

Anyone know anything else about it?
