Dog Shit On Stage
As a result of an altercation that took place at the show in Mesa, AZ this past Friday, May 03rd, Dog Fashion Disco have decided to drop off of the Twiztid/Blaze Tour. According to the bands management, as the group were setting up they were bombarded with objects from the crowd such as bottles, lit cigarettes, coins and more. Despite this, the band continued on and as they started to play the first song of their set the atmosphere only got worse with various taunts breaking out and even more objects being thrown towards them. This apparently got to the band, driving band frontman Todd Smith to pull a box onto the stage and proceed to defecate into it for all to see, after which he allegedly held up the box and said something along the lines of "this is what I think of all of you." It is said that he then went onto to state that the band could play another song or that he could throw his shit all over the audience. Enraged by this, 2 members of the audience rushed the stage and shoved Todd into the drums, where venue security then intervened and the band immediately left the stage. Amidst the fiasco on stage, a member of the audience was reportedly stabbed/slashed and the police were called into to shut down the show and clear out the venue. A statement from Dog Fashion Disco's manager regarding the matter is available for viewing on a thread located on the Dog Fashion Disco message board here.
