Australia Like Hell Pt.2
Kittie are heavily rumored to have canceled the Australian leg of their overseas trek which was set to take place mid next month. No official reason has been given as of yet, though a growing rift between certian members of the band and bassist Talena is heavily rumored to be the cause.
Kittie is a great band... but i can't seem them lasting long enough to do another album.

We're A Happy Zombie
More artists have been confirmed for the forthcoming Ramones tribute album, tentatively titled, "We're A Happy Family". The latest line-up for the effort, which is being helmed by Rob Zombie and Johnny Ramone and is expected out through DV8/Columbia in the summer, is as follows:
Marilyn Manson - "The KKK Took My Baby Away"
Static-X - "Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment"
Rob Zombie - "Blitzkrieg Bop"
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Havana Affair"
Motorhead - "Rockaway Beach"
Green Day - "Outsider"
Billy Corgan - "I Want You Around"
Rancid - "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker"
Offspring - "I Wanna Be Sedated"
Eddie Vedder - "I Believe In Miracles"
Contributions from more are expected to show up on the effort as well.
Looks like it could be a good mix. My sister has had "I Wanna Be Sedated" by the Offspring on the computer for a long time because they played it in the 'idle hands' movie.

Kurt's Diary Deal A Closed Book
In a quick move to make what should probably remain private a public matter, Penguin Putnam's Riverhead Books are now the proud owners of the rights to publish Kurt Cobain's personal diaries. Riverhead, which reportedly bought the rights for $4 million U.S., is hoping to release the as-yet-untitled book based on Kurt's journal entries, sometime in November. The prized piece of rock literature will be based on 23 of the late Nirvana frontman's notebooks and drawings that date back to before the incarnation of his band up until the time of his death in 1994. "The journals are an intimate, unadulterated portrait of an artist of great influence," reads a statement from Julie Grau, co-director of Riverhead. "They reveal Cobain's vision and design, they document his creative and personal struggles."
I would really like to read it.. but i don't think its right to do that to someones diary or journal! (please refer to yesterdays comment on this topic)

More Filler From Sum 41
Sum 41 will throw the switch on their world tour to head into the studio on June 1st to record the follow-up to their multi-platinum sophomore album, All Killer, No Filler. Treble Charger frontman and Sum 41's Half Hour of Power producer Greig Nori will be the man behind the Ajax, Ontario band's new album. "These guys consider me a fifth member--we understand each other and dammit, I won't let them down," says Nori. "We're going for the gold on this one." Until then, Sum 41 remain content after receiving 3 Juno nominations for Best Album, Best Rock Album and Best Group. The Junos take place April 14th.
Yeah! They will aslo be on tour across Canada!

Eminem & Limp Bizkit Make Up
The feud between Eminem and Limp Bizkit appears to be officially over. The two have joined together to record a new song, called "New World Order," which supposedly deals with the hunt for Osama Bin Laden by U.S. troops. Eminem takes on the roll of Bin Laden while Fred Durst assumes the role of an American GI in Afghanistan. The rest of Limp Bizkit provide the background music on the track. Rapper Xzibit was the one who apparently convinced Eminem to end the beef saying it was childish and put him on the phone with Durst. The joint venture marks the end of a verbal feud between Eminem and the Bizkit. Things got hot and heavy between the two when the Bizkit's DJ Lethal intervened in a battle between former House of Pain rapper Everlast and Eminem.
What? This is going to be bad.... *cough*
