Destiny Of A Child's Father?
Destiny's Child manager and father of Beyonce Knowles, Matthew Knowles, is facing a lawsuit after supposedly spending $45 million of the group's profits on sex and drugs. According to the family of Andretta Tillman, who co-managed Destiny's Child until she died five years ago, Knowles wasted millions by "engaging in unproductive, unreasonable and/or improper acts." According to the lawsuit, Tillman's sons claim that Knowles had a coke habit and also engaged in extracurricular sexual activities, which included picking up the occasional hooker. Knowles is reportedly undergoing treatment for his "marital infidelities."
I wonder if the sex and drugs were used to block out the bands singing?

Creed's Quest
Creed have come out with an online game called Creed Quest. Part scavenger hunt, part trivia quiz and part skills test, fans get the chance to win prizes by answering questions about the band. Look for clues to the questions in Creed's songs and album art, and go to creedquest.com to join in. And some sad news to report, Creed have had to postpone tonights show in New Jersey because guitarist Mark Tremonti's mother has died. Fans who'd like to make contributions can do so via the band's charity, the With Arms Wide Open Foundation, at http://www.witharmswideopen.org . A foundation that helps to protect the lives and well-being of children by seeking to ensure healthy, loving and nurturing bonds between children and their parents. The band is expected to resume their tour in Toronto on Monday February 4th. MuchNews will bring you all the highlights.

U2 Live, Mariah On Tape
Mariah Carey might be a little nervous about singing the Star Spangled Banner during the Super Bowl on Sunday, after all its her first time. Just to be on the safe side Mariah will be recording a vocal track that will play back-up during the live performance like most artists apparently do. Not U2 though, Call us old-fashioned, but we thought it might be novel, commented Bono on the fact their halftime performance will indeed be live.
Lets lipsync Mariah! Maybe then you will have more time to play with yourself on stage!

Sex VS Music VS Football
U2s efforts might however be in vain. Super Bowl Sunday's half-time show is going head-to-head against the reality TV show Fear Factor, which will make a pretty predictable attempt at a ratings grab with an all-Playboy Playmate edition. Get your mind out of the gutter, boys. This edition of Fear Factor has got the PG stamp of approval. Even though one of the stunts involves bikini-clad babes in freezing cold water. U2, Mariah Carey, Paul McCartney, Mark Anthony and Mary J. Blige or terrified playmates in thongs. Football fans will face a life altering choice.
I don't know what to watch!!!!!!

Pam Will Strip For Kid Rock
Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson said she'd like to give up acting in the next couple of years and aspire to do something so much better, like say performing as a stripper on her boyfriend Kid Rock's tours. In various interviews over the past week, Pam has been revealing that within a couple of years, she was going to bow out. She is quoted as saying, I have a stripper pole in my bedroom. I was thinking that I would just take pole dancing lessons and go on the road with Kid Rock."

Backstreet Convention
The Backstreet Boys' first ever Fan Convention in March has prompted a local mayor to declare a Backstreet Boys Day, even though the band probably won't be there. The first convention begins in Baltimore on March 2nd and will feature guest speakers, contests and auctions and the presentation of the Fan Appreciation Awards. It will also raise funds and awareness for a number of charities supported by AJ, Nick, Brian, Kevin and Howie.

Here are some mainstream metal albums that saved us from the rest of the shit on the radio...

Black Sabbath - Paranoid: First album I ever bought, cost me a quarter at a flea market
Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power: The definitive 90's metal sound.
Rage A.T.M - Self Titled: This made metal socially relevant
Slipknot - Self-titled: Speaks for itself
Metallica - Kill Em All / Master Of Puppets / Ride The Lightning: They won the game
Tool - Undertow: Metal that was artistic and not wanky... a major feat
AC/DC - Highway to Hell / Back In Black / High Voltage: 'Nuff said
Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction: It is still the high point.
Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss: Simple, it's Slayer.
Skid Row - Slave to The Grind: It was heavy and accessible and great.
System Of A Down - Toxicity: Saved us from a lot of crap.
Misfits - Collection I & II: The Punk band that was Metal.
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine: Trent understood the mood.
Iron Maiden - Killers: What helped to start it all.
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance: see Iron Maiden description (segment producer Darby Wheeler prefers Painkiller)
Ministry - Psalm 69: Pure evil
Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare: The first band that my mom freaked when she heard me listening to it. A reaction that would be repeated many times after.
Megadeth - Peace Sells but Who's Buying: One of the Big Four
Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil: For a while there it was nasty
White Zombie - La Sexorcisto: Metal got groove

I was flicking through the channels and i saw a commercial for the new RollerBall movie.
In the background they were playing "Never Gonna Stop" by Rob Zombie.

During the preview i saw a clip of Paul Heyman which surprised me..

and then a clip of Shane McMahon which really surprised me!

Then i saw it... the thing that surprised me more than Paul Heyman or Shane McMahon being in the movie.. i saw...

Cory from Slipknot!
i searched on google.com and found the following on wholenote.com
Slipknot will make their feature film debut later this year in a remake of 1975 classic skate-to-the-death flick, Rollerball. Directed by Die Hard's John McTiernan, the remake finds Iowa's favorite music sons joining a cast that already includes LL Cool J, American Pie's Chris Klein and model/actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.

I also looked into this online @ wwf.com (you know, Paul Heyman + Shane McMahon = WWF) and this is what i found:
The Hollywood folks from the upcoming movie "Rollerball" were great to work with.
Paul Heyman and Shane McMahon appear in this picture as well.
- The Ross Report

I also found a site for the RollerBall movie @ rollerball.com.
There is a little thing at the bottom of the site where you can get your own 'international RollerBall name'...
