Sliperyn
Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor/#8 recently hit SR Audio Studio in Iowa with Chicago, IL based band, Slitheryn, co-producing an upcoming 4 song EP for the group with producer/engineer Matt Sepanic. Taylor also lent his vocals to one of the bands tracks, "Lost", which you can currently check out on the bands official website, www.slitheryn.com. In related news, Taylor is tentatively planning to hit the studio in April to continue work on his forthcoming solo debut under the moniker of Superego, with a possible release through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam being eyed sometime in the future.

Powerman 4000
Powerman 5000 frontman Spider One has confirmed that the band have now lined up a new and as of yet unannounced drummer. More info is expected to be released shortly. The group however are still currently in the process of seeking out a new bassist. For now, they expect to release their new album through Dreamworks sometime later this year.

Automatic Existence
Former Chimaira guitarist Jason Hager is involved in a new project dubbed, Automatic. The group features members of Forever Untouched and they expect to hit the studio shortly to begin tracking a few songs. In other news, Hager's wife Jayme gave birth to a healthy baby boy this past weekend.

Crawling In The Gold
Hoobustank's self-titled Island/Def Jam debut has now shipped gold in the U.S. An official certification by the R.I.A.A. is expected shortly.

Got The Mix Pt.2
Korn have in fact lined up Andy Wallace (Faith No More, System Of A Down) to mix their forthcoming and as of yet untitled album. The effort is expected to be mixed in Los Angeles, CA shortly, with a tentative May 14th release through Immortal/Epic being eyed.

ANTHRAX To Issue "Taking The Music Back" In June
ANTHRAX have set June 24th as the tentative European release date of their brand new CD, entitled Taking The Music Back, through Nuclear Blast Records. A US release through Beyond/BMG Records is expected shortly thereafter.

monday, january 28 at 8:30pm pt/11:30pm et. reznor will join rockline host bob
coburn live from new orleans.
