DVD Pilot
System Of A Down are tentatively planning to release two upcoming live DVD's. One is hoped to be released as early as summer 2002 and will feature footage captured during the Pennsylvania stop of this years past Pledge Of Allegiance trek, while the other, tentatively dubbed "Downin Japan", is hoped for a release by Christmas 2002 and will be comprised of footage culled from the bands overseas tours, along with various other bonus footage. Both releases are expected to be headed up by band bassist Shavo Odadjian, who recently filmed the video for the bands new single, "Toxicity", this week alongside director Marcos Siega (P.O.D., Papa Roach). The clip is tentatively expected to debut on January 15th.

The Anti-Primer
Primer 55 have dropped off the upcoming Biohazard and Clutch Tour dates that were set to take place late this month due to a band guitarist Bobby Burns' recently aggravating a lingering knee injury. In related news, the band are expected to take some time off early next year to rest, during which Bobby will be spending his time with two upcoming groups, one being Killer In The Workplace, which will feature him on guitars and vocals along with band bassist Kobie Jackson, while the other is The Anti-Stars, which is described as being a more "off the wall" project. The latter group will now feature John Stainer of Helmet/Tomahawk fame, rather than Killer In The Workplace, and is also expected to feature a wide variety of guest appearances.

Just So You Shoot
American Head Charge have confirmed plans to shoot a video for their forthcoming new single, "Just So You Know". The clip is expected to be filmed in April/May, once the band return home from their overseas dates with Slipknot, and will begin airing shortly after.

Metal Cock
Kid Rock's latest outing, "Cocky", has now been certified platinum by the R.I.A.A. for sales in excess of 1 million in the U.S.

Too Hard To Mix
Amen have wrapped up tracking their forthcoming and as of yet untitled new album and are expecting to take a short break before beginning the mixing process with an as of yet unannounced mixer. The album was produced by Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot) and is hoped for an early spring release through I AM/Virgin.
I can't wait for it!

Boy Hits Studio
Boy Hits Car are said to be currently laying down tracks for their forthcoming new album, which is planned to see a release through Wind-Up sometime next year.

Mushroomhead recently hit the studio to record a few new tracks, one of which is entitled "The Long Awake" and will be featured on the upcoming Soundtrack to "The Scorpion King", due out in stores on April 02nd through Universal. It is unknown as of yet where the other new songs will show up, though the band do hope to embark on a national tour beginning early next year.

You've begged, you've pleaded, you've literally sent thousands of emails requesting song and video information. Guess what? You got it.
Playlist for Saturday, December 22:

Hey Loud watchers,

So due to the unfortunate airing of an *NSYNC special, Loud's 11pm broadcast is being pre-empted. There will be a 4am and an 8:30am airing of Loud where you can catch an encore presentation of our Ozzy episode.

Next week we'll pay tribute to Chuck Schuldiner of Death and in the weeks to come we'll have an interview with Biohazard as well as an All UK metal show from London.

Thanks for watching.
