A Perfect Queen
The Queens Of The Stone Age have recruited A Perfect Circle bassist Paz Lenchantin and her sister to track some strings for the groups forthcoming new album, "Songs For The Deaf", which they are said to be currently mixing in Los Angeles, CA. The band have also confirmed that they recently tracked a song with former Fu Manchu drummer Brant Bjork, who is heavily rumored to have now joined the group since his recent departure from Fu Manchu. The new album will also feature guest appearances from Gene Ween of Ween and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters/Nirvana fame when it arrives in stores in late spring / early summer 2002 through Interscope.

Tip Your Jaw
Glassjaw recently debuted a new track titled "Tip Your Bartender" at their recent live show in New Jersey this past weekend. At present, the band are still said to be involved in a stand off with their record company Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam regarding their forthcoming new album, which they plan to record sometime in the coming months with producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot). In the meantime, the band have also written a wealth of other new songs for the impending effort, known tentative track titles include:
"El Mark"
"Ape Dos Mil"
"Cosmopolitan Blood Loss" "Neo Tokyon"
"Midwestern Stylings"
"Must Have Run All Day"
"Trailerpark Jesus"

Bad Smack
Godsmack are hoping to wrap up work on the forthcoming video for their latest single "Bad Magick" sometime in the near future. The group had originally began shooting for the video in Portland, ME with director Troy Smith on September 10th, but put the clip on hold indefinitely as a result of the terrorist attacks which took place the following day.

Postman 5000
Powerman 5000 frontman Spider One recently made a post on the bands official message board regarding prospective replacements for the groups vacated bassist and drummer slots along with some insight to their forthcoming new album, which is due out around spring / summer next year through Dreamworks. The tentative Australian dates for Slipknot's forthcoming Australian tour have been announced and are as follows:

Scoring A Residence
More information has surfaced on Marilyn Manson's upcoming contributions to the film adaptation of the classic videogame series, "Resident Evil". Manson is said to be working with Tim Skold of KMFDM fame and composer Marco Beltrami on a score for the film, an opening theme and possibly a single for the outing, which will most likely land in theaters late next year.

Connecting With Fear
Fear Factory's forthcoming DVD release "Digital Connectivity" has now been set for a January 15th release through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam.

Ramone Zombie
Rob Zombie has teamed up with The Ramones guitarist Johnny Ramone to co-produce an upcoming tribute album to The Ramones. At present, a release next year is being eyed, with Zombie planning to enter the studio in January to record a cover of "Blitzkrieg Bop" for the outing. Other artists who have expressed interest in appearing on the project include Metallica, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Eddie Vedder, Rancid and more.

The Coastaline February
Chore have lined up a February 19th release date through Sonic Unyon for their forthcoming new outing, "The Coastaline Fire".

Enlarged To Show DVD
311 will be releasing their long awaited second home video, "Enlarged To Show Detail 2", on DVD/VHS on December 11th. The band will also be re-releasing their first home video, "Enlarged To Show Detail", on DVD on December 11th as well, and featured on the DVD version will be the videos for "All Mixed Up" and "Don't Stay Home". The Mars Dare
A new track by fledging At The Drive-In side project The Mars Volta has made its way online, it is titled "Roulette Dares" and you can check it out here. The group features both former band frontman Cedric and guitarist Omar.

Wasting My Mp3
The Kinison have posted their entire 3 song demo online in mp3 format on their newly launched site, located here. The outing was produced by Amen frontman Casey Chaos and the band are currently in the process of securing a recording contract.
