...and we thought this day would never come....

Limp Bizkit, Wes Borland Part Ways

Limp Bizkit and Wes Borland have amicably decided to part ways. Both Limp Bizkit and Borland will continue to pursue their respective musical careers. Both wish each other the best of luck in all future endeavors.

-from Limp Bizkit.com

...and this is what BigDumbFace.com said:

Well this day has finally come. We all knew it would happen sooner or later, some of us hoped for sooner. Wes has parted ways with Limp Bizkit. This is not a bad thing, or a bad decision. You all know the bullshit that goes on behind the scenes of that and other bands, I myself am very happy that he chose to leave the group. I feel that the band he was in, did a complete 180 degree turn in the past few years. But not because of Wes.

You're probably wondering what's going to happen with BigdumbFace. Wes has requested that we put the BDF site on hold for a bit just so he can shift his life from chaos to more of a normal way of living.

I spoke to Wes today and here is what he had to say about future projects and whatnot...
Right now, Kyle Weeks, Scott Borland, Wes and Greg Isabel are starting a new band. More of a serious side to all of them. The former name was 'gutta-percha' but has since been changed. (I'll keep you posted on the name) The BIGDUMBFACE project will not be a side project of 'Wes Borland' any longer but rather a side project of this new band they are starting. So that leaves the question about a new BDF album...Yes, it will happen probably sooner then later. And a tour you ask? of course. There are many projects to follow this one, Wes will never stop his music career anytime soon... which is a very good thing.

I'll just say, Wes is probably the nicest, most talented, down to earth, person I have the pleasure to know (among others) . He was the only member of Limp Bizkit that I feel never changed due to the fame and money. He has been the same level headed person he always was... besides the Satanic worshiping and eating poop.

SO, I wish him the best of luck throughout this whole ordeal and I hope you continue to support him as well. Wes wishes the guys from Bizkit the best of luck with the new record. Keep checking in for new stuff.
