+ gODHEAD records song for America and message from Jason!

Living in the Washington, DC area the events of September 11th hit very
close to home, literally. As the commercial airliner slammed into the
Pentagon, the explosion could be heard in our neighborhood as our
windows rattled. I recently drove by the Pentagon and the damage looks
100 times worse in person than it does on TV. I can only imagine what
New York looks like in person. Everyone in our band knows someone who
has been personally affected in both cities. All we can hope for is that
steps are taken to make sure nothing like this happens ever again.
-Jason

In honor of all of the victims in the tragedy of September 11th, gODHEAD
has posted their version of "Amazing Grace" on the website for download.
This was recorded several years ago and has never been available in its
complete form. We hope you enjoy it. Click here to download:

In a recent post on the bands official website www.limpbizkit.com, frontman Fred Durst announced that their impending remix album, which is currently due out on November 20th through Flip/Interscope, will be titled "Limp Remizkit". Along with the title, Fred also announced the tentative list of guests set to contribute remixes of the bands tracks and they include DJ Premier, Timbaland, P Diddy, The Neptunes, Josh Abraham and William Orbit, along with tracks done by Fred himself, band guitarist Wes Borland and band DJ DJ Lethal. A few guest appearances are also expected, including the likes of Bubba Sparxxx, 8-Ball and E-40, along with a few more as of yet unannounced "special surprise guests". Other points of interest include the bands upcoming DVD release, which according to Fred:
"will have all the ill home footage from the beginning till now, all the videos, new remix versions of the videos, never seen takes from the videos, hidden passage ways to unseen video, hidden levels almost impossible to find with even more private footage, dope screensavers, and wallpapers. its gonna be the illest dvd experience yet to date."
A release date for the DVD outing has not yet been set. In the meantime, also announced was the inclusion of Deadsy frontman Elijah Blue on the upcoming rock version of the charity cover of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On", which will also feature appearances from members of Limp Bizkit, Korn, U2, the Stone Temple Pilots and more. The track is expected to hit radio and video outlets in the coming weeks.

Coal Chamber have pushed back the date on which they will begin mixing their forthcoming new album "Dark Days", to this coming Monday, October 01st. In other news, despite previously announcing that all tracking had been completed for the new effort, band frontman Dez Fafara recently hit the studio this past Friday to add a few more finishing touches. At present, the mixing process, which is being helmed by the albums producer Ross Hogarth (Motley Crue), is expected to be wrapped up in around 2 and a half weeks time, while the album is set to hit stores in February through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam.

According to a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Staind plan to begin work on writing material for their next outing while on tour with the Family Values trek this fall. Band guitarist Mike Mushok commented on the process saying:
"Once we head out on the road again, I'm going to start putting down some ideas and working on some of the stuff we didn't finish for this record and see where it goes. There was a couple ideas that I actually hadn't finished that I didn't even get to present to the band... There's definitely a few that are still remaining that could be worked on, plus some other little ideas that could maybe make themselves into new songs."
At present, it is unlikely the band will hit the studio to begin recording until around at least spring/summer next year.
