System Of A Down Debut At #2 With "Toxicity"

System Of A Down debuted at #2 on the album sales chart this week. The band sold over 170,000 copies of their sophomore release, "Toxicity", in its first week of release. Staind (#6) and Linkin Park (#7) had strong weeks, selling over 110,000 copies respectively. Here are how Shoutweb artists did this week on the chart:

Pantera Cancels Tattoo The Planet Tour...

Pantera has cancelled the Tattoo The Planet Tour of Europe due to the recent tragedies in America. Pantera released the following statement:

There are no words worthy to express the sorrow we feel for those who lost loved ones in yesterday's terrible tragedy.

We have made the decision to cancel our participation in the upcoming "Tattoo the Planet" tour of Europe that was scheduled to begin tomorrow, Thursday, September 13.

We apologize to our international friends and fans that we planned on jamming and partying with, but there is absolutely nothing in the world worth compromising their safety or ours.

P.O.D. Cancel L.A. Events, Launch "Satellite"...

P.O.D. have cancelled their show tonight at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA. P.O.D. have also cancelled their scheduled Friday appearance on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno. All events were cancelled due to the tragic terrorist attacks that happened in America on Tuesday. P.O.D. released their new album "Satellite" this week.
