George Stroumboulopoulos's Much Music Info:

BACKGROUND: Born in Toronto and raised in Malton and Rexdale Ontario. George graduated from Humber College's Radio Broadcasting program.. Before landing the gig at Much, George worked his way through several on-air radio stints including Kelowna, B.C.'s "The Lizard", Toronto's FAN 590, and his most recent, Toronto's Alternative Rock station EDGE 102 where he hosted both "Live in Toronto" & "Over the Edge".

MUSIC TO LIVE BY: Rancid, Danko Jones, Pantera, AC/DC, Dr.Dre, Jersey, Slipknot and of course . . . Led Zeppelin, The Clash, and Rage Against The Machine.

FAVOURITE TV SHOWS: The Simpsons, Magnum P.I., Law & Order, The West Wing, The Sopranos, and The Buzz.

Movies to Live By: Army of Darkness, The Blues Brothers, Midnight Run, and Apocalypse Now and anything else with Sean Penn.

Career High: Having John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers call me a F***ing A**hole on air. They later made-up. All is cool with the two.

Adema Rock Record Release Party, Korn Attend...

Adema celebrated the release of their self-titled Arista debut, Tuesday in Los Angeles, with an in-store signing and private show. All 5 members of Korn were spotted at The Roxy where Adema played a full set for fans who attended the band's in-store signing at Tower Records.

Slipknot's "Iowa" Leaks, "Left Behind" Video Gets Set...

Slipknot's new album "Iowa" has leaked on the net in mp3 format. The album will hit stores on August 28th. The band's label Roadrunner Records stemmed off an earlier leak by not sending out any promotional copies of the album. Slipknot are rumored to be finishing up the video for "Left Behind", which is expected to debut on MTV somewhere around the release of "Iowa".

Nobodies Wood

Marilyn Manson will be releasing a CD single for the track "The Nobodies" in the U.K. on September 03rd through nothing/Interscope. In addition to the title track, the release will also include a live version of "The Death Song" and the video for "The Nobodies". In other news, recent rumors heavily suggest that Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne may be collaborating on a track together sometime in the future, as they hit it off quite well while touring together all summer on the Ozzfest.

Dope have set an October 30th release date for their forthcoming new album for Flip/Epic which has now been confirmed to be titled "Life". The effort, which was co-produced by Edsel Dope and Josh Abraham (Staind, Orgy) shapes up as follows:
01 - "Take Your Best Shot"
02 - "Now or Never"
03 - "Nothing (Why)"
04 - "Stop"
05 - "Thanks For Nothing"
06 - "Die MF Die"
07 - "What About..."
08 - "Move It"
09 - "Jennys Cryin"

12 - "Slipping Away"
13 - "March of Hope"
14 - "Youre Full of Shit" (Hidden Track)
The first single from the release will be the track "Now Or Never", which is set to impact at radio on September 18th. Meanwhile, the groups previously announced August 28th and 29th dates, as well as their August 31st through till September 02nd stops will take place opening for Cold. In other news, the band have also announced the latest additions to their line-up, who replace former guitarist Tripp Eisen who has since went onto Static-X and former drummer Preston Nash who is now a member of Primer 55. Now in their place is guitarist Virus and drummer Sketchy Shay, while Sloane Mosey Jentry has been enlisted to handle the bassist slot.
