Cold are set to hit the road with Weezer beginning September 6th. The trek is set to run through September 29th. Dates will be announced shortly. Cold shot the video for "Bleed" on Friday. The clip was directed by Fred Durst and features a guest appearance by Staind's Aaron Lewis, who sings on the track.
Powerman 5000 have cancelled their upcoming tour with Machine Head and Saliva. Powerman have pushed back the release of their new album "Anyone For Doomsday?" to 2002. A reason for the delay has yet to be announced. The band is said to be going back in the studio to record new tracks for the effort, after the original record was received poorly.
Machine Head have set an October 2nd release date for their forthcoming Roadrunner release, "Supercharger". The band is working with director Nathan Cox (Linkin Park, Spineshank) on a video for the first single "Crashing Around You". Tour plans for Machine Head are in the works following the cancellation of the Powerman 5000 tour.
Kittie have officially parted ways with guitarist Fallon Bowman, in a statement released by their label Artemis Records. The label referred to Bowman as a "hired hand" and said the creative vision of the band has always been set by Morgan and Mercedes Lander. Kittie have set an October 30th release date for their upcoming second album, "Oracle". Former guitar tech Jeff Phillips will fill-in as the band's new touring guitarist.
