Slayer Cranks It Up
Slayer have changed their mind and will now likely be covering Alice Cooper's "Under My Wheels", rather than Deep Purple's "Highway Star", for the upcoming NASCAR sponsored "Crank It Up" album, due out in stores this spring through MCA. Other artists lined up to contribute new material to the effort include (hed)p.e., Les Claypool, Staind, Nonpoint and more.

3 Dark Days
The upcoming overseas release of Coal Chamber's new album "Dark Days", is expected to feature 3 additional tracks, they are as follows:
"Anxiety"
"Save Yourself"
"One Step" (Scott Humphrey Mix)
The effort is currently slated for a May 06th release in Europe and a May 07th release stateside through Roadrunner.

A Perfect Seething
Seether, formerly Saron Gas, recently parted ways with drummer Dave Cahoe and as such, they have lined up Josh Freese of A Perfect Circle/Vandals fame to handle the drum tracks on their forthcoming Wind-Up debut. At present, the group are currently recording the effort with producer Jay Baumgardner (Papa Roach, Alien Ant Farm) and are shooting for a late summer release. In other news, the band are heavily expected to be a part of this years U.S. Ozzfest trek.

Before I Unravel
Mushroomhead have selected "Before I Die", as the next single from their most recent release, "XX". A video is planned to be shot for the track shortly.

Down With The DVD
Disturbed have set "M.O.L." as the title to their upcoming DVD release, due out in early May. At present, the band are locked away in Chicago, IL's Groovemaster Studios, recording their upcoming new album "Believe", which the band hope to release in September through Reprise/Warner. The group have around 11 new songs ready for the album and are working on it with producer Johnny K. (Machine Head, SOiL), while Andy Wallace (Faith No More, System Of A Down) has been tapped to mix.

Just So You Charge
American Head Charge are tentatively set to shoot the video for their new single "Just So You Know", in Los Angeles, CA on April 01st. The track will impact at radio on April 08th and is taken from the bands Island/Def Jam debut, "The War Of Art".
