In Memory Of Kurt Cobain
Kurt Cobain's private memoirs are going to be auctioned off for publication. The 800-page manuscript, organized by none other than Courtney Love, is to be looked at by some New York publishers and is expected to sell for several million dollars. Publishers were asked to sign confidentiality agreements before viewing the documents. The book based on these documents, called The Autobiography of Kurt Cobain, is expected by many to make a huge contribution to rock memorabilia. No word on when the memoirs will be auctioned off. According to The Times paper, the late Nirvana frontman's memoirs include writings about his desire to be famous, his heroin addiction and his frequent bouts of depression. The memoirs also include Kurt's suicide note, which was written in red ink to Courtney, prior to his death in 1994.
Gee.. sellout on what little is left.. I hope he comes back and KILLS THEM ALL! *cough*

Michael Jackson's Movie Mania
Michael Jackson is investing in film. The gloved one's company, Neverland, has formed a partnership with Mark Damon's Montreal-based MDP Worldwide Entertainment Inc. film production company. The partnership, which cost MJ close to $20 million will help finance the making of classic stories into movies. Jackson's Neverland partner is movie producer Raju Sharad Patel, the man behind such classics as the Jungle Book and Pinocchio. Canadian Michael Jackson fans might be able to see the King of Pop in person because he plans to be on location for many of the film shoots, which will be happening in the True North. "I'm sure Canadians will see him," says Patel. "They should expect some very exciting movies coming out of this company."
He is coming to Canada? Keep the little boys inside!

R. Kelly Sex Tapes Surface
According to numerous entertainment news sites, a tape that allegedly shows R. Kelly having sex with an underaged girl has made its way to the streets of New York and onto a number of websites. Chicago police are currently investigating the contents of the tape. Although R. Kelly's lawyer insisted that no such videotape exists, the web sites are insisting that the contrary is true and are offering downloads of the footage, sometimes for a charge, in spite of the fact that it could be child pornography. A spokesperson for one of the web sites said they were posting the material to aid journalists and to prove that the footage actually does exist. Other sites are offering the footage to prove that Kelly's not the man involved in the tapes.
If Jon Davis (KoRn) wants to direct some porn... these guys should team up! *lol*

Britney In 2-D
Last week we told you about a new video game called Britneys Dance Beat featuring Britney Spears that will be released on PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, PC and Mac in the spring. It seems that the pop princess spent hours having her body scanned for the new video game to ensure that her video game likeness is as close to the real thing as possible. Liz Pieri, of the game's manufacturer told the New York Daily News, "Britney's very protective of her image, but was quite pleased with our rendering," she said. "Her mum likes it too."
