Leaving The Chamber
Coal Chamber have parted ways with band bassist Rayna Foss-Rose, due to her wanting to focus her time on her family, which includes her 2 year old daughter Kayla. The split was amicable and she will be replaced by Nadja Puelen, who previously handled the touring bass duties for the band during Rayna's maternity leave. At present, the band are set to hit the road starting on March 08th as part of the Jagermeister Music Tour, which will also feature Drowning Pool and Ill Ni�o, while their forthcoming new album, "The Dark Salvation" is expected out this spring/summer through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam. Dates and venues for the aforementioned trek are expected to be released shortly.

God Doesn't Hate Diecast
Diecast have been added to the impending God Hates The World Tour with Slayer and Hatebreed on all dates from January 25th to February 14th, more dates are expected to be announced shortly. Following the trek,Diecast are also expected to hit the road with Hatebreed again, though it has not been confirmed as of yet whether it will be as part of the bands Perseverance 2002 trek, or their upcoming stint with Converge.

Downloadthesongs
Downthesun have posted sound clips of 4 new songs from their forthcoming self-titled debut for Maggot Recordings, on their official website, www.downthesun.com. At present, a release for the album is being planned sometime later this year, most likely through Warner.

Nothing But More Violence
Nothingface have currently written 11 songs for their forthcoming and as of yet untitled new album and are now planning to hit the studio in March to begin recording. A decision on a producer is expected to be made shortly, with a fall release through TVT being eyed.

13 Points
Nonpoint recently completed tracking the drums for their forthcoming new album, "Development", with producer Jason Bieler (SW1TCHED, Darwin's Waiting Room) and are currently taking a week off, with recording set to resume again on January 28th. The group will be recording 13 tracks in total for the album, which is expected to see a release through MCA in June. In other news, the band have re-titled their new track, "361", to, "In Circles", and will be remixing it shortly, with plans for it to see a release on a Nascar compilation in the coming months.

Alive Button
Former Snot / current Soulfly guitarist Mikey Doling is said to be putting the finishing touches on the long awaited Snot live album, "Snot Alive". The effort was recorded during a show which took place in Hollywood, CA in May 1998, while Doling recently produced and fine tuned the tracks at a Malibu, CA area recording studio. A release in the coming months is expected, possibly being preceded by the live version of the track, "The Box", as a first single. Doling went onto comment about the decision to release a live album, stating:
"This album will be for everyone who loved Snot live and for everyone who ever wished they could've seen it live."

Unscarred
SOiL will be filming a video for their new single, "Unreal", this week, it will begin airing next month.

Shooting Smack And Rock
Godsmack are set to shoot a video for their new single, "I Stand Alone", this week in Los Angeles, CA. The video will feature WWF Wrestler, The Rock, along with other stars from the upcoming Scorpion King movie, of which Godsmack's track is the first single from the soundtrack. The effort is due in stores on March 26th through Universal.

Poisoned Moreira
It looks as though Poison The Well will not be performing on any of the dates on the forthcoming Suicide Machines/Catch 22 Tour, due to band frontman Jeffrey Moreira becoming seriously ill and requiring sometime to rest. As of late, band roadie Rick has been filling in on vocals at the bands performances due to the severity of Jeff's illness, though he is expected to recover fully with some rest. Poison The Well's new album, "Tear From The Red", is set for a February 19th release date through Trustkill.

Viewing You here
Incubus will be releasing a CD single for their track, "Wish You Were Here", on January 21st in the U.K.. It will be made available in three flavors, they are as follows:

Run Like Kitties
Kittie have chosen their cover of Pink Floyd's, "Run Like Hell", as the latest single from their latest release, "Oracle". An mp3 of the track is presently available for download on the bands official website, http://www.kittie.net .

Back To The Factory
Fear Factory are set to begin work on new material for their next album beginning next week. In other news, band drummer Raymond Herrera will also be hooking up with Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter in the next few days to resume work on material for the upcoming debut from their side project, Kush, which also features B-Real of Cypress Hill and Fear Factory bassist Christian Olde Wolbers.
