PAPA ROACH Pay Tribute To The 'KNOT On New CD - Jan. 15, 2002

PAPA ROACH have written a song about SLIPKNOT's Sid Wilson, entitled "Sid" for their forthcoming CD, Lovehatetragedy, according to Kerrang! magazine. Frontman Coby Dick commented: "It's pretty wild and one of the heaviest songs we've written for the new album!" As previously reported, PAPA ROACH are presently completing work on Lovehatetragedy at a North Hollywood studio with producer Brendan O'Brien (i.e. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, KORN) for a June release through Dreamworks Records.

NICKELBACK, STP, KID ROCK Get Certified! - Jan. 15, 2002

NICKELBACK's Silver Side Up has been certified triple-platinum for sales in excess of three millions copies in the US. Also recently certified were STONE TEMPLE PILOTS' Core (1992), which has passed the eight-million mark in sales, and KID ROCK's Cocky, which has shifted over one million units since its November 20th release.
