Rumors have begun to circulate regarding the lineup for this years impending Ozzfest trek, it seems as though Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society have been confirmed for the outing so far, while other acts being heavily eyed to appear include Drowning Pool, Filter, Methods Of Mayhem, SOiL and Down. This information is preliminary at best however and more official info is expected in the coming months.
Tinjen To Change
SW1TCHED have posted an mp3 online of a remix of their track, "Exterminate", done by Tinjen, you can check it out here ( http://www.mp3.com/sw1tched ). The bands forthcoming full-length Immortal/Virgin debut, "Subject To Change", is due out on February 26th.
Slipknot's recently re-recorded new version of their track, "My Plague", has been re-titled, "My Plague" (New Abuse Mix), and is expected to be used as the next single from their latest outing, "IOWA". The track is also tentatively set to show up on the upcoming soundtrack to the movie adaptation of the video game series, "Resident Evil", with which Marilyn Manson is said to be involved. The film and soundtrack are both planned to be released in the spring.
Jager Comes Around
Ill Ni�o are tentatively set to shoot a video for their latest single, "What Comes Around", in the near future. In the meantime, the band are expected to hit the road on the Jagermeister Music Tour beginning in early March through till late April alongside Drowning Pool and Coal Chamber, dates and venues are expected to be announced shortly.
According to the bands official website, http://www.disturbed1.com , Disturbed are currently getting back to work on writing new material for their next outing at their own studio and are expecting to officially begin tracking it with producer Johnny K. (Machine Head, SOiL) in March. A release in the summer through Reprise is expected. In the meantime, the bands forthcoming DVD debut is still in the works and is presently eyeing a Spring release.
According to the bands official website, www.biohazard.com, Biohazard have been forced to cancel the first three dates of their Tour Against Terrorism due to a foot ailment suffered by band guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei. The trek is now set to resume on January 12th in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Ape Dos Warner?
Glassjaw are heavily expected to sign a new recording contract with Warner Bros. later this week. The group are currently tracking their forthcoming new CD for the label in Los Angeles, CA with producer Ross Robinson (Korn, At The Drive-In) and are expecting to release it around the summer through I AM/Warner.
