Former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has dubbed his upcoming new band Eat The Day. The group features Wes and his brother Scott on guitar and vocals, Greg Isabella on drums and Kyle Weeks handling sampling/djing. A bassist has yet to be determined, though Scott and Wes will handle the bass duties in the studio, for their forthcoming debut, which is expected to be produced at least in part by Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot). At present, the groups debut effort is expected out mid next year.
The Single Park
Deadsy are expected to use their track, "The Key To Grammercy Park", as the first single from their long delayed Elementree/Dreamworks debut "Commencement", which is due out early next year. The track features a guest appearance from Korn frontman Jonathan Davis and a video for it will most likely be shot in the coming months.
Off The Pepper
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have set "Off The Map" as the title to their forthcoming live DVD/VHS release, which is slated to hit stores through Warner Bros. on December 04th. The VHS version of the effort will feature 18 songs performed live at a concert which took place in Portland, OR in September 2000, while the DVD version will also feature the aforementioned 18 songs, along with 5 more and various interviews and behind the scenes footage. At present, the band are in the studio working on their forthcoming new album, which is expected out through Warner Bros. in spring.
Mayorga Gets Primitive
Roadrunner Records have confirmed that Roy Mayorga is indeed the drummer for Soulfly once again and that the band are currently at Chaton Studios in Phoenix, AZ, working on new material for their forthcoming new album, which is due out in April through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam. Band frontman Max Cavalera is handling the production of the effort and around 5 songs have been tracked so far. It is not yet known who will mix the outing, though tentative track titles include:
Rammstein have posted a statement on their official website, http://www.rammstein.com , regarding their departure from the Pledge Of Allegiance Tour, which features Slipknot, System Of A Down, American Head Charge and No One, it is as follows:
"Despite weeks of overwhelmingly positive popular and critical response to their performances on the Pledge of Allegiance tour, RAMMSTEIN has been forced to return to its native Germany by a serious illness in guitarist Paul Landers' family.
The other five band members considered completing the tour as a five-piece but ultimately decided otherwise and have now returned to Germany.
RAMMSTEIN collectively conveys its regrets to its fans, the artists and organizers of the Pledge of Allegiance tour, and anyone else disappointed by this unavoidable turn of events. The band hopes to return to the States at some point in the not too distant future."

Marilyn Manson recently shot a video for his cover of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" with director Phillip Atwell (Eminem), it is set to premiere on MTV on November 19th and is the first single from the soundtrack to the upcoming film, "Not Another Teen Movie", which is due in stores on December 04th.
