W.A.S.P., Metal Church, Steve Pearcy, & L.A. Guns Show

On Thursday night I went up to Hartford, CT to go see W.A.S.P, L.A. Guns, Steve Pearcy, & Metal Church for a concert/tour. The doors were supposed open at 6 and me and my boyfriend did not arrive at the arena until around 6:30 at night. I guess Metal Chruch was running late with the sound check and stuff. Plus the boyfriend and I go there late cause we got lost going to the show. CT is not exactly easy to get around cause the signs arent on every street and they are kinda place on the same side of each other so it was difficult but we managed and we got there safe and sound. So we got our tickets at the arena cause my boyfriend bought them online. The doors opened at 7 and they were checking id and well that was a bit of a problem for me since I lot my wallet a few days before the show. So I didnt think they were going to let me in but they did and t was all good. If they wouldnt let me in my boyfriend said that I was going to have to wait in his truck until the show was done. I was like hell no I am not waiting in your truck. It was all good because I got in and had a good time. I dont remember all the songs that the artist played caused I didnt really know any except a few.

L.A. GUNS: So they played some new music that they have coming out in about 3 weeks. I really didnt hear what they name of the songs were cause they werent clear and the speakers sucked. They werent a good live band to go see. I was kinda disappointed since they were huge in the 80s and it now being 2005 I thought they could have been better. The only song I know bye them is Ballad of Jayne. I wasnt too impressed with there performance and thought that they could have been better.

METAL CHURCH: They were awesome and I really enjoyed there performance a lot. That lead singer can scream. I knew one of the songs that they played because I just got into them and I know a few new stuff off there new cd that they have out from listening to them on Music Choice. They are played a lot on the metal channel so thats how I know oh and also because my friend got me into them. I knew Start The Fire when they played it and bought there t-shirt and also shook one of the members hands after the show was done. I thought that was awesome so it was worth trip from massachusetts. I would go see them again cause I enjoyed them. My boyfriend of course didnt enjoy them too much. We have a huge difference in music when it comes to us.

STEVE PEARCY: I really enjoyed his performance as well as Metal Church. This guy can rock and his solo stuff is awesome. His music is heavy and loud and rocks your socks off. He even playes some Ratt stuff as well. I fell asleep during like the first half of his performance cause I was tired so I went and sat down somewhere and fell right to sleep. I woke up in time for Round & Round, You're In Love. Those are some great songs bye Ratt. I am thinking of picking up his solo cd cause its pretty good and keeps your rocking.

W.A.S.P.: Blackie Lawless is the fucking man and put on one hell of a show. He was amazing and keep on rocking. I was very pleased with his performance because I thought it wasnt going to be good at all. I thought it was going to be a disappointment but it wasnt and I had a ball. I knew a lot of the songs that they played but there were a few that I didnt know. They played Kill Your Pretty Face, On Your Knees, I Wanna Be Somebody, Love Machine, The Idol, and I dont know what else they played. My boyfriend got Blackie's pick that he threw into the crowd. It was an awesome show and my boyfriend has been waiting to see them and has missed them 5 times.

Wednesday 13 was supposed to be on the tour but dropped off for some odd reason. I was pissed because I was looking forward to seeing them.

alright well that was my concert review so I hoped you all enjoyed it and if anyone else went to show feel free to add your 2 cents in the comments area.
